The Curious Tale of Gustav P. Hopodopolis

This is Gustav P. Hopodopolis, maitre-d at Basil's Emporium of Delights, who follows flocks of wild moustaches west for the winter...

What does Gustav do next?

Does he follow the moustaches to their nesting place, deep in the heart of the Siberian woods, where variations of all shapes and sizes drape from the branches? Does he spot the lesser spotted curlie polka dot moustache, beside the mammoth whiskery Imperial, and rescue a wounded Handlebar from a snaggy twig it had accidentally flown into?

Did he then spend months communing with the taches in the gloriousness of nature, finally building up a close psychic connection with them? Did this connection come in handy later on, when his arch-enemy Siegfried the Smooth tracked him to his Siberian lair, with giant shears hidden under his cape? Did Gustav twitch his upper lip telling the flocks of wild moustaches to land on top of him, cunningly disguising him as a large bear? Did he then use this disguise to sneak out from under Siegfried's nose, and off into the sunset with his whiskery friends?

Only you can say! Post your endings here!
